If he comes down here again and he suggests we eat at a grazing trough, l'll kick his ass.Not to be a debbie downer. If you were just trying to shed a few quick pounds that you didn't mind gaining back later, I'd almost be on board. But your reasons for doing it are dubious at best IMHO.

As another fellow RN I can agree with E here. Though a small fast may do some good in the short term being the catalyst to more weight loss and continued healthy eating. ChrisAgreed. He's at a healthy weight. I'd say just cut back on the high fat foods for cardioprotection. There's no need to cut these foods out completely. A weekly cheat day is a good thing.
