Best free or paid DVD to iPad converter

Hopefully i have this thread in the right place , but Ipad owners which is the best option for converting DVD's to the Ipad?

I bought Pavtube DVD to iPad Converter software in order to convert episodes of a DVD to iPad format for a journey next week. The quality of the video is superior to the iPhone format of the series which I converted with Handbrake.

iSkySoft has been giving away free copies of some of their software. I picked up the dvd to iPhone converter and it worked very well. They are giving away a DVD-library software now (only works for mac) but they also gave away 'iMedia converter' which I also picked up and seems to work well also.

I've not had good luck with Hand break. Wonder what I'm doing wrong. Using a PC.

I use handbrake and ifunia, Handbrake for straight convert, and ifunia for some more tweaking.
