I have a two-piece snap on case, and I dropped the phone once (once) and both halves just popped right off! Not much in the way of protection, just for looks.

I assume you are not able to place it in the iPhone dock connector without removing the iPhone.
Would the case impede me using my DLO Leather Case I just bought?

Do you think that the iPhone "chrome edge" would get scratched? I have heard others with Crystal Cases (hard plastic) iPhones getting scratched badly.

How do you like the case by now? Have you dropped your phone yet? How protective does the case seem? Are the images like stickers on the case, in the case, or not stickers at all? Is the outside hard or more like a gel?

I have that Belkin case. Hasn't scratched yet, but like I said earlier, when i dropped the phone, the case just popped off and flew in 2 directions. It did, however, save the phone from being scratched when it hit the concrete.
I am definitely getting another one, just haven't figured out what design im going to get. I love it it's stylish and does what it's supposed to. No scratches, it fits very snug. The inside is completely smooth, don't know how scratches would be posibble. I don't know how the Belkin case is causing scratches? The only way I can get pull it apart is manually. Hello I haven't dropped it yet. I asked them about the material before purchasing, they said its the same high quality glossy vinyl used to cover nascar cars and stuff. Also comes with a belt clip, im not the belt clip type so I don't know how good that works. For 20.00 you can really go wrong.
The corners are crystal cover, so if you drop it. it definitely going to prevent your iPhone from breaking, even if the shell oppen, the initial impact will be taken from the case. It fits well.
