Well today was the day my iPnone 5 arrived and my wife's too.
As I said I was going to do I brought the unopened phones to the AT&T store and opened them in front of the CSR. First my phone -- SCRATCHED. I rejected it.
My wife's phone was OK...one very tiny, tiny little imperfection that nobody is going to see.
So after wating about 24 days total they had to re-order mine and told me 14 days. Damn it. I was totally worried this would happen. The rep tried to talk me into a White Phone but I really just don't want a white one.
Pretty disappointing. They have some serious quality control issues but it looks to me like it's virtually impossible to get a 100% pristine black model. The materials used are just very prone to nicks and scratches. Who knows I may end up with a white one in the long run if the next black one comes in scratched.
