Bold, italic, underline in Notes?

Has Apple made this feature available in anything other than email? I'd like to use it for Notes and text, but am unable to find the options. Any advice would be great!

It's not available for text, not stock at least.
If you go to settings>notes that's all you get.

For notes I use Awesome note.
I get all the fonts I want.
