books on iPhone?

hi, i am actually posting this from my iPhone,cool! Ok, my question: I know i can download audiobooks from iTunes but can i download software that let's me download books to the iPhone to read on the screen?

Theres no way to download any software to the iPhone.

perhaps you can download the book on your computer and email it to yourself (i suppose it will in pdf format) and then read it as an attachment .... i don't think its the best way to do it but that is one way

Yup, you need to be able to convert the book to either Word .doc or PDF (if you can print it, you can print from a Mac and choose Save As PDF...)

Not sure how many ebooks allow you to convert them or print them though... I only read the ones from Baen.com, and you can either convert them and mail them to yourself, or just use Safari to read the HTML versions online, but those are the only ones other than the out of copyright ones from Gutenburg that I know of that aren't DRM protected.

Yeah you can download PDF files. I was looking into a downloading software for that too.

I wanted to find software for downloading movies, music, and books. I found a couple sites for it.
