before i updated the iPhone software the bose idock worked with the iPhone..i was prompted to switch to airplane mode and it worked fine in ipod..now i get a prompt that says this device is not usable with iPhone..No music plays but the unit charges..anyone have any suggestions? I already restored the phone, no difference..

mine still works, the only difference I can see is that I do not go into airplane mode and it still works.

It's flaky at best. First, power your phone down and start it back up. Then before you put the phone in the Bose iDock be sure to switch to iPod mode. Once in iPod mode, then plug it in and wait for the screen prompting you to switch to Airplane Mode. Click Yes and it should work.

The key here is to reboot. Everyone once in a while mine gets crazy and does what you're describing and a reboot fixes it.
