Call your AT&T tonight...IMPORTANT

I just called my local AT&T and they said they are giving out tickets in the morning when they open so they wont have any lines. The tickets go in order so if your the first one to get one then you will be the first to come in at 6 pm.

Im sure it varies at different stores, but i would call just in case.

I wish my store was doing this. Instead they are putting up stanchions and hiring a security guard. I guess I will still be waiting outside for over 30 hours or so.

Thanks for the tip, it seems every store may be different. My AT&T store is not handing out the tickets until 5:45PM, so we are expected to wait in line until then.

they only thing i didn't like about waiting in line was waiting in the heat... now thats gone i don't have to worry about that or even waiting in line

I just called my closet store. They said it was first-come-first-serve at 6:00pm. They will kick everyone out of the store at 4:30.

And they had no idea how many they would be getting, and they did not have the phones yet.

Wow...cant believe Im going to stake out another spot for a new device release. Sooooo coooool! We have a lot of ATT stores in my town...maybe thats why no line. ATT is like STARBUCKS in California. One on every block.(exaggeration) But many ATT here.

The "media savvy" stores want a line. Just like at my store...there's 3 guys already out there and the AT&T media rep is there and they're pulling in all kinds if press.

Oooo I am in a big city too. no lines here. Lets just say I am in one of the top Ten largest cities. Very happy about no lines.

Seems like it. I'm not sure why more wouldn't, maybe because they want to be 'fair'. It makes everything so much easier for everyone though. No mess, no line, no crowds to handle all day.

I just called 5 AT&T's that are within 10 miles of me and all of them said it's FCFS@6pm
