Caller id Pics

I used to be able to edit my pics from the address book app on my mac to create the thumbnail caller id pic as apposed to the full picture caller id pic. However, it isn't working for whatever reason. Did Apple take this option away or does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

If you edit the pic in your iPhone you will get the thumb nail. If you edit it on your computer you will get the full picture.

I have a couple of contact lists (Exchage, icloud, and gmail) and I have pictures in some but not all and I have not yet gotten a caller ID picture. Which contact list does the phone use for caller id?
