Hey guys, Im looking to buy a Ipad 2 for personal and businesss purposes.

Im looking to get the Ipad 2 white 16g wifi.

First question is tethering with my phone will that work ok? Its something that wont be used all the time but will be used here and there.

Secondly Im looking to upload movies to this Ipad for while im traveling and on my cruise coming up in Feb. Being that I will own the 16ghow many movies/Pictures will that hold?

Also Im looking to create forms on the Ipad so that I can do audits for my job. Is there a good app/Program i can get that will allow me to create my own audit form and be able to travel from one location to the other and perform that same audit.

Any help I sure would apprecaite it.

Thanks

I am not sure where you are located but I am in the UK and I have a 16gb WiFi iPad2 and I tether it to my iPhone4 and have no problems at all, I am on the Three Network and they include tethering as part of my data plan at no extra cost and I can connect it to my laptop at the same time and both can go on the web simultaneously. I also put films on my iPad but am unable to put many on, a typical film from iTunes is approx 2gb in SD. I have not tried ripping any dvd's on my mac yet.
Hope this helps.

Id say your best option for forms would be Google Docs. You can create, edit, and manage forms, SS, etc. You might have to have internet connection. Will ck and repost

I would most likely be uploaded them from their original disk and put in my iPad! How much memory does that take up?

You won't be able to put many movies on with a 16G... just not enough memory. As for tethering, if you are in the U.S. At&T has been putting a stop to that unless you are paying for it. I have a 32G and wish I had gone with the 64.

I am ok with mine being the 16gb because I am home most days so I just put what films or tv shows on that I am likely to want to watch that week so not using much storage.

Quash the movies down with a codec like .mkv you'll get a movie down to 400mb. I have a small mpg of StarWars that was on my old PDA which is only 72mb, the whole of ep. 4 x
