Stopped by Best Buy yesterday, set my iPhone into many of the iPod accessories, including the iHome and Bose products. The iPhone works with the all the iPod accessories they had on display although the iPhone had a disclaimer when I docked it stating the device I was docking to was "not supported...." and gives the option to set the phone in airplane mode" I think this has to do with interference the phone might create during iPod use.i want to sell my ipod with all my ipod accessories but i want to know if the bose speakers for the ipod fit the iPhone cause i wanna keep them
Out of curiosity, just popped my iPhone into the Bose SoundDock System that I use with the iPods.does anyone knows if the ipod bose speakers fit into the iPhone
Glad that it worked for you. We really need to start a thread detailing which accessories work with the iPhone.Out of curiosity, just popped my iPhone into the Bose SoundDock System that I use with the iPods.
The iPhone screen popped up with a message: "This device is not designed to work with iPhone. Would you like to switch to Airplane mode to reduce interference? You will not be able to send or receive calls with this function selected."
Clicked "yes" on the screen. (doh)
Hit "Positive Vibrations" by Bob Marley on one of the playlists... and it's playing G R E A T!
S W E E T ! ! !
My guess is that any speakers; that have the large size iPod connection (not a Nano, etc.) will work with the iPhone/iPod. Maybe not with the clock/radio/speakers since the radio will pick up interference from the cell phone?
The longer I have iPhone... the more I LOVE IT!
Peace![]()
