Any iPod car charger with a dock connector should work. My local CompUSA had a $10 "blow out bin" that had some of the DLO variety on sale.

I need to post a question here. I have an iPod Video car charger and it works perfectly fine with my iPod Video. However, when i plug it into my iPhone, I discovered that it seems to be draining my iPhone battery pretty quickly. I had about 1/4 battery left when I plug it in and after about 40 mins drive, it was down to RED and 20% left. Anyone experiencing this?

Had that happen with a scosche ipod charger. Worked fine at first but then started doing exactly what you are describing plus made the phone very hot. Reading Apple's recommended battery maintenance section (or whatever it's called) it said heat is a major enemy. So I disconnected it at once and will never use it again for fear of permanent damage to the battery. It is going to be Griffin only for me from now on me as I have never heard of a problem with theirs.

update: Just read another post that said their griffin made their iPhone hot but no mention of whehter it was an older charger made for ipod or the new one that supposedly "works with iPhone"

Griffin PowerJolt Problems on Camry!

I went through two of the Griffin PowerJolt adapters on my Camry.

Each one had the same problem. Loose fit into the AUX slot,
then about 2-3 seconds after I plugged it in, arcing sound and
puff of acrid smoke.

Tried a second one on the request of the Apple Store (just in
case the first one was a bad one), same thing.

Now I find the fuse on that AUX jack has blown as well.

Well, at least the Apple Store gave me my money back....

Be careful with the PowerJolt....
