Had that happen with a scosche ipod charger. Worked fine at first but then started doing exactly what you are describing plus made the phone very hot. Reading Apple's recommended battery maintenance section (or whatever it's called) it said heat is a major enemy. So I disconnected it at once and will never use it again for fear of permanent damage to the battery. It is going to be Griffin only for me from now on me as I have never heard of a problem with theirs.I need to post a question here. I have an iPod Video car charger and it works perfectly fine with my iPod Video. However, when i plug it into my iPhone, I discovered that it seems to be draining my iPhone battery pretty quickly. I had about 1/4 battery left when I plug it in and after about 40 mins drive, it was down to RED and 20% left. Anyone experiencing this?
