I'm curious. If I am browsing the web using Safari, can I make or receive a call on my iPhone?

That is no good, my Blackberry Pearl can do this. Was reading the iPhone manual on Apple and the answer is no. According to the manual if you are using EDGE, ie in the middle of a data stream over the cellular network, and a call comes in it will go straight to voicemail. However if you are on WiFi it will ring through. Apparantly, the iPhone has only one receiver which can be used either for EDGE or a telephone call separately but not at the same time.
Then it'll ring through and you'll see a call notification on-screen.what if I'm reading a webpahe on edge but nothing os currently loading?
