Everytime i try to install iPhoneringtonemaker, i get the following error: unable to open key ".mp3". I have vista home premium. I've run the install as admin, change permissions etc. Nothing works. Any ideas?

iPhoneRingToneMaker is a great program, but since it costs money, why don't you just use iBrickr? It also does ringtones but it does them for free. Also, if you've hacked your phone, install the program "Song Sender". It lets you set any song on your phone as a ring tone.

The reason I like iPhoneringtonemaker is because it seems to be compatible with Apple's updates and thus no need to restore each time one comes out.

I went ahead and bought ringtonemaker like a few weeks back because I love how u can upload the song and cut and paste whatever part of that song that u like and use it as your ringer. A neat lil' feature that really customizes your ringer. It was only $10 bucks and also I want to give back to the people that develop these programs for all their hard work. Correct me if I'm wrong here guys but I can't remember if I jailbroke the phone prior to using this prg. I think this application doesn't require it to be jailbroken but then again iBrickr came out recently and basically makes life a lot easier to mod the iPhone.

Yeah, ringtonemaker doesn't mod your phone.

Problem running On New mac

I also bought ringtonemaker and found out that when I run my powerbook using parallels the program runs fine except when I try to send the ringtone to my phone. The PC side of the system doesn't see the phone. I have iTunes running on the PC side as well and when I run iTunes it doesn't see the iPhone eother. Any ideas? Thanks
