Can't update to iOS 5 an internal error occurred

I have a 3gs on iOS 4.3.5 i have updated iTunes downloaded iOS 5 when it starts to restore the phone i get the message - The iPhone "Scott's iPhone" could not be restored. An internal error occurred. i have restarted my macbook pro changed to another usb port still the same error. Please Help

does it get to the extracating software, then tries to verify with Apple?

i get through that i believe and get to the restore part. and i get this iPhone cannot be restored and error occurred (3200)

Yeah, I've gotten that error as well. Good to know it isn't only me. Anyone else having an endless sync loop? Maybe too many people are tryin to upgrade at the moment?

Same here. I am trying to update my wife's Verizon iPhone and have been getting that message I am trying to do a restore now and see if that works.

Ice, did you try it yet because a restore didn't work for me; I just got my iPhone two days ago so i didn't have a lot of stuff to loose on but still annoying that it doesn't seem to want to upgrade
