ALRIGHT! I finally have a progress bar under the Apple logo on my phone! I guess it's going through now. I'm not sure that any of the remedies worked or if it was just a matter of chance....

was getting same error, tried a restore, but now Im getting error 3204 while restoring. so now im really screwed i think. phone just cycles from Apple screen to thinking black screen.
I tried it again now after a few settings tweaks in my internet explorer, and now it says servers unavailable

I'd believe that, except according to iTunes, the OS is downloaded completely, so at this point I 'SHOULD' be able to do it even if I was offline.
back to error 3194. So not cool lol... Maybe I'll just try later and hope that works... I don't really have another computer that I can use!
Same message, no number. Followed the direction in the more information button, no avail. Must be an overload issue on Apples part. Good news is my iPad (trying that first) seems to still be working.
No... Hard reset as in home button and lock button held until the Apple starts back up.
