Well first off hello! to the people on here My names Frank. So I have a problem Im going away on friday to southbeach and I don't know what to do. I wanted peoples opions...should I order online,look for an Apple store there? I currently have tmobile and Ive been hating it for a while now the service just sucks and after years of sidekicks and noticing that...they will never be fully improved I gave up. I WANT the iPhone so bad! Should I switch to AT&T now n get a cheap/free phone and then switch sim cards? or should I just wait ? Also Its under my mothers name on tmobile and I want to switch just my number over. I know I need her ss# is there anything else? please help thanks

You could buy it at any Apple store you want and then activate it using your laptop right there in the car if you want.

Don't know whether you'll be able to just switch SIM cards. Some are saying the iPhone sim is a proprietary size and will not work in other phones and standard SIM cards will not work in the iPhone. We do know that the iPhone will not work until it is synced with iTunes and the activation process is completed.

If you're setting it up in your name, you'll need your own SS#.
