Changing the dock?

Can someone please tell me how I can change the dock? I used the search function but could not locate any tutorial that does a step by step on how to change the dock. Thanks.

Proceed w/Jailbreak and iPhoneinterface as normal.

The file you replace is in "/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/" the name of the file is "SBDockBG2.png"

Then back out of jailbreak and iPhoneinterface as normal....

sorry to be simple, but I am on my phone...

If you check out the sticky under the modding section, you can follow any of those tutorials. I personally like the second link listed under the carrier logo change heading.

Let me know if you need more help. Next time I'm on my computer I can give you direct links, but you should be able to figure it out using those tutorials.

Hi! I did access the "Springboard" app files, but i can't open them on photoshop or any other application!

theres a zip file on the modmyifone.com site that has all the images on the phone

if you try to pull the png's from the phone you wont see anything

Hi! I did access the "Springboard" app files, but i can't open them on photoshop or any other application!

SSH into the phone. Then go to /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes, there you will find all the themes that reside on your phone. You can double click on a particular theme, and you will see Dock.png. Next highlight Dock.png, and from the Aciton menu choose Download To......., Select the folder you want and your done. Simple.
