I had a weird charger bug start last night--put the phone in the plugged in cradle and...nothing.

Restarted the phone...nothing.

Connected it to my laptop, and it synced and charged fine.

Tried it today in the cradle in a different plug and got the "this accessory is not made for iPhone" message. Then nothing.

I think it's the power brick, but they seem like they'd be too simple to fail.

Replaced the power brick with one from my wife's ipod and it charged, so it really does seem to be a power brick failure...wonder if it's software or hardware?

It is the brick. Happended to me too. Return it to Apple and they will replace it.
