Looks like it is invitation for right now. You provide them with your email address and they put you on a waiting list.
So i just got an email from spotify today giving me a summary of the music trending.
The top tracks in my city and age group are just my top tracks. More people need to use this.

Ok this is why I gave up on the app, I couldn't figure out how to activate the free version. I'll try again.

I didn't know that. thanks, it makes all sense now. I just got busy with other things and completely forgot about it.
Would the free version work with an app like pocket tunes, I can listen to any online music streaming site, I used to use pocket tunes to listen to Howard stern on Sirius radio before it was available on the app, or do you need to download something on your computer in order to work?
No. The free version only works with their app on a PC/Mac. It's not a regular stream. You need to subscrive to use on the phone.
