Both articles I have read on this report it with Bank of America cards and I have not seen any mention of issues with any o ther bank. So is this really an Apple Pay issue or a Bank of America issue? It will be spun in the news as an Apple Pay issue regardless but it smells like this is on BOA's side of the financial court.

It still affects Apple Pay function.

I agree Apple Pay is affected what I question is whether the glitch is on Apple or BOA. The headlines slant toward it being caused by Apple which BOA Customer Service did as well. To be fair, Apple Pay customer service pointed to BOA as the cause themselves so they are no better in the point and blame game. I just will be interested to hear where the real cause began since no other banks have been identified as of yet (that of course may change...and I would not be surprised to see any fake claims at other banking establishments come out either).

Well, either way that you spin it, this falls back on Apple. Bank of America is the establishment that is supported by Apple Pay.

I guess I look at the other way and see that Apple Pay 'could have' done everything correctly but the bank moved the funds twice. I may very well be incorrect but at this point, none of us know exactly where the breakdown happened.

I don't use Bank of America but someone must have decided to scam people during this time of Apple pay issues. Got a Bank of America text today that contained a link to update my account by filling out my info. Watch out for scams

Panera Bread. I wish Atlanta Bread would get into Atlanta Bread.

But anyways, I've only used Apple Pay at where I've seen it so far where I go. Cvs. No issues there.

How can they be done with Apple Pay that quick!? Maybe they were already in the process of getting rid of it? I used it the other day.
The fact of the matter is when Apple Pay rolled out, several retailers were already having issues with it. It could be that Apple is going back to the drawing board and working on A new pay system and trying not to deal with the bad press.
