Sometimes the cover art shows, sometimes it does not on the iPhone. It looks fine in iTunes on the computer and I've removed it, added it and synced but it does not show up for this one album, any ideas?

Hm...did you purchase the songs through iTunes? Otherwise, it may not be recognizing them on the iPhone because it has no where to pull the original cover art from.

No, they are my own CD's. When I choose 'fetch cover art' it can't find the CD so I downloaded it manually and did it.

OK got it. If it does not sure up you can embed it into the songs and it will. Select all the songs on the CD, right click, Get Info and set the Album Art

I had the same problem. I took all the songs out of iTunes and put the covers on one by one. Very time consuming but so satisfying in cover flow! Another thing to do is to go into the iTunes store and look at what they have the title of the album as and input that. Then ask to get artwork.

How else would you get the cover art there? That's how I did it and I'm noticing this problem as well. It shows up while I'm scrolling through my albums in the cover flow thing but when the song plays it just shows the musical notes...

:(

iTunes just had it, or if there was a cover.jpg in the folder it would pick that up I guess.

I'm new to the whole iTunes/iPod/iPhone thing and one thing I noticed if you import your own songs say from a CD. Of course you will sometimes have to add your own cover art for that album, but heres the thing you will have to add your cover to ever song in that album!

The first time I played with this and iTunes did not have the cover for my album I would of course download the album picture from the internet. Then I would click on the first song and click get info and then add the cover art. I would then go into my iPhone and start playing that album I noticed that after the first song would play all the other songs would have that default placement holder icon. So what you have to do is basically add the cover art to every single song in that album.

I hope that helps...

I've got the same problem. My artwork shows up on iTunes but SOME of them don't show up on my phone. It did for a while and then today for some reason Some of them disappeared. I can't figure out why it went away?

what works for me everytime is select all the songs for the cd, right click on all off them and choose get info. In that screen set the cover art

exactly...this is awesome as I had a bunch of old cd's that did not have artwork. I simply found a pic of the album cover on google search..saved it to my pics...then I was able to get it from iTunes. Now all my albums have covers...thanks everyone
