The fact that my phone could become a 600 dollar paperweight makes my heart stop. I'll wait until either A.) Apple comes out with something B.) Someone comes out with a foolproof program with NO risk. I would like to think that Apple would wise up and say "hey, people are making their own ringtones, maybe we shouldn't charge them to make their own." but again, wishful thinking
