I was watching a video on the iPhone at BusinessWeek.com and happened to notice that approx 1:04 into it, gives a direct price for service and data?

Since this isn't directly from Apple or AT&T, I don't know how much we should pay attention to this... But Business Week is a pretty reputable site and by the way they typed that out, it seems like they are very confident in it.

Here's a link to the movie: Business Week iPhone Anticipation

What do you think?

They either have the info and this would be true:

That price is for both voice and data. Since the lowest voice plan is $40, that would make the data plan $20:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:.

Or this:
probably just looked at the available plans out now and came out with that number.

That was my thought, but wouldn't they have said something like "rumored $60 / month"? or "+/- $60 a month based on current plans"?

If this is true, I am going to be VERY excited!

I am excited as well if this is true because the data plan would be $20 and not the $40 everybody has been talking about.

Exactly man, as soon as I heard about the $40, it left a real bad taste in my mouth... They would be able to push so many more of these too. *holds onto his AAPL stock*

Same here. If it really is $40 I will probably not get the phone. And I will short my Apple stock:(.

I hope they're right. It would be nice to only have to raise my monthly expense $20 instead of $40.
