For those who have the book, does he happen to mention any "online resources or communities"? Obviously, it would be a boost to EIP and membership if he mentioned the site.

I would like to understand the popularity of this book. How much can a book like this add to how to use the iPhone, given its very simple UI and limited configurability. For example, what could it tell me about using Safari that I don't already know?

Me too, the fact that this book and also 'iPhone for Dummies' exist is a bit patronising if you ask me.
