Apparently the Apple log is prone to scratching, but every other part of the phone seems to be fine. After a week of heavy use, Pogue's iPhone had no scratches on the surface, but had heavy scratches on the Apple logo on the back.

Smudging also seemed to be problematic but only near the home key, and it's to be expected anyways.

do you think there's some sort of small clear sticker that we can apply to the Apple logo? maybe even a screen protector that is cut down to size?

i'd be interested in that.

I would have thought a brushed aluminium effect would have been better than a chrome finish on the logo.... scratches would be less noticeable
