Delete, re-download a video: Get higher-quality copy?

I purchased a video back in 2010 that looks really lousy. I opened up the Get Info window and the resolution is horrid:

I'm fairly certain I can delete it and re-download it for free, correct? If I do that, will I get a better-resolution version of it? I'm assuming this is the best iTunes was offering back in 2010...

Are you an iTunes Match subscriber? I'd make a copy, then delete it -- then download from iTunes Match.

Not currently, but it may be something to consider, seeing as that I currently get a better-quality video by watching it on YouTube...
