Hey everyone. I'm new here, just got my iPhone yesterday. So let me first say hello. :laugh2:

I wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to turn off the sent mail notification? Every time I send an email I get an email myself saying that my last mail was successfuly sent. I don't need to see this. I've searched through the options menus and can't find a setting to turn this feature off.

Can anyone help? Thanks a ton!

which email client are you talking about? If it is outlook you need to change the setting on your computer so that iTunes will change the settings on your phone. If you are referring to gmail or yahoo you would need to change it within your web settings. More specifics and I am sure one of the genius' here at EIP could help you out.

Hmm, I'm using Outlook on a PC. I'm not sure where that option is. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Settings>Mail>Sending>Always Cc Myself>OFF

Just check this setting to make sure it's not set to ON.
I was going to suggest that but when I have CC Myself active it only CC's me an exact copy of the email (as opposed to getting a message stating that "my last mail was successfuly sent"). When CC Myself is active it also shows it on the CC line. Personally, I'd rather this be BCC, not CC (or just be able to BCC in general!).
