Do the Apple Stores sell the refurbished iPhones?

I've never known my local Apple store to sell anything refurbished, and I spend a lot of time in there.
Apple Stores occasionally sell refreshed computers so I guess there's a chance they may sell iPhones as well. Not sure why they call the computers refreshed rather than refurbished though.
Probably to not be connected with the connotation of the word, which is a little dodgy in my opinion.
they do not sell the refurbished phones in-store... it is an online offer only, and a great one at that... why not shave off 100$ for pretty much the exact same phone you would get new

What about repair and warranty service for refurbished products at the Apple Store?
If I buy a refurbished iPhone from Apple.com and have a service issue would I be able to take it to an Apple Store? Would they provide a replacement on the spot if necessary?

Warranty and repairs are exactly the same for refurbished products as they are for new products.

as of now refurbished iPhones are only available through our online store. In the future you might see them in our retail stores but for now they are only available online. Each retail store has a different selection of available refurbished products so be sure to check them out frequently.
