Do you type with one finger or two?

When I first got my iPhone I was typing with one finger because the screen was so sensitive and my fingers are pretty large (I'm a 6'5 dude with huge paws). Over time -- a whole week -- I've learned to type with two thumbs and I'm getting faster and more accurate.

How do you type?

if it's vertical, I'll use one, maybe two at times.

In horizontal I use 2 thumbs and just look at the text being imputted. I sort of memorized the keyboard and if im off a little iPhone auto corrects.

No. Not at all. I am 5'10" tall and have hands to match. They are what one would call "normal" size.

I just can't seem to get used to typing with two thumbs. Had no trouble on my Treo. In fact typing with one finger on the Treo was a nightmare.

When I use two thumbs, the misspellings happen like crazy. Of course the phone corrects 99% of them (way cool feature), but I prefer to type accurately on my own, which, for whatever reason, I can do more easily with my index finger.

Odd but true.

I find it easier to type with my thumbs on either vertical or landscape.

I think it's easier to type with thumbs on the landscape one, but it's faster for me with one finger on vertical.

One finger typer here... Hehe I'm on my iPhone now! I actually type faster and better in portrait mode oddly enough.

I type faster in portrait but less accurate, the keys are closer together so faster but you may miss type.

depends on landscape or portrait mode and whether or not i'm sitting or standing. if i'm standing at the train station, i usually type with one finger in portrait mode since i'm paranoid about losing my grip on it and dropping it onto the concrete. if i'm sitting on the train or anywhere else, i'll type with 2 thumbs in landscape or portrait mode.

I can't wait until they let you type portrait in other programs, because I'm at least 30 WPM like that.

I've found that it's really easy to type with the thumb on my left and use my index finger with the right. Now I'm typing freakishly fast on the keyboard.

I'm typing with two now but like most people, at first it was only one and very slow. Now, I type quite fast and with both.

good god, man, did you have a heart attack when that happened? i would have screamed and cried like a little girl.

I was silent as i saw it laying there. hands on my head, head hung becauase I knew what I would find when i picked it up.

What makes it worse is After it hit, it slid against the ground and i could hear it.
