Just wondering how personal, political, profane, etc. we can be in our texting. What's their policy on message content? Do they read or censor certain messages?
you are entitled to say whatever you want on YOUR phone. it's not AT&T's phone. now whether they can access what's transmitted i'm sure they can, but they don't have any kind of filter that will censor your text messages.Just wondering how personal, political, profane, etc. we can be in our texting. Every transmission from every communication device, wired or radio signal is monitored by the NSA (National Security Agency). I'm not saying that they read or listen to every conversation. There are certain words either written or spoken that will cause them to lock on and listen or read further. MJust wondering how personal, political, profane, etc. we can be in our texting. I heard you cannot say "Unicorn" over the phone :O creepy... **iam j/kAnd what words might those be?![]()
They may now be looking at you because of what you wrote. Some of you think that this is a game, it is not. 911 changed all the rules. You had better realize that before you find yourself dealing with a very serious problem..MI'm pretty sure that if you say F*** or any curse word, you aren't going to be monitored. It's only the stuff like, "I'm gonna bomb the White House," or any other terroristic actions, that would be looked into.
I realize that 9/11 was a serious event, but the post I just made had no intention of actually carrying out the action I stated. I was giving an example, not saying I was planning on doing that. I don't think it's a game at all, I know it's not. They may now be looking at you because of what you wrote. Some of you think that this is a game, it is not. 911 changed all the rules. I know what you meant, but writing or saying those things now, in any context. Can get you into a lot of trouble...markI realize that 9/11 was a serious event, but the post I just made had no intention of actually carrying out the action I stated. Well, considering that you quoted his remarks in your reply...isn't that kind of like guilt by association?I know what you meant, but writing or saying those things now, in any context. Can get you into a lot of trouble...mark
Yes, but it was his writing, not mine. I did think afterwards, I shouldn't have associated my post with his. I wonder did the black Suburban with the tinted windows show up at his residence? MWell, considering that you quoted his remarks in your reply...isn't that kind of like guilt by association?

seriously dude lighten up. If his quote triggered any kind of monitoring and they read that post there is no reasonable way that they can derive any kind of evidence that he actually had intent for anything. and if they read further down and saw your ridiculous insinuation that he could get in trouble for that they would probably laugh their @sses off.I know what you meant, but writing or saying those things now, in any context. Do you just follow me around this forum to tell me that, I'm wrong? What are you, some kind of HATER or something? I know you secretly enjoy my posts, that's why you always read them. Tell your child/children (if you have any) how to act and what to say, not me. Behind every great person, lies a pack of HATERS. Get a life, will you..Mseriously dude lighten up. No 9/11 is not a joke and shouldn't be taken lightly. Yes they can monitor certain things and yes you are right certain things trigger the NSA to monitor conversations or forums. But there has to be intent for there to be action or trouble and there is no intent in any shape or form in what he said.
Actually, no. I don't think you're understanding what you're saying. Writing or saying those words in ANY CONTEXT can get me in trouble?I know what you meant, but writing or saying those things now, in any context. Can get you into a lot of trouble...mark
