Does washing the Revo really help with lint?

I have seen it posted on here, but I wanted to verify before I tried. So far I like my Revo (Nighthawk), but it's a lint magnet

Yes. Wash it with soap and water once or twice. After a few days, you will see less and less lint attracted to it and eventually none at all.

Did you buy your Revo in the first week and a half after it was released? If you did, they changed the material it is made of slightly and the new one does not attract lint at all (in my experience).
