Does Yahoo mail sync sent and deleted messages?

I’m considering buying an iPhone. And I have a couple of questions:

When you use Yahoo mail on your iPhone; Does the phone sync with Yahoo as far as sent and erased messages? In other words, when you sent a message from your iPhone, do you see the sent message on your PC? And vice versa?

As far as contacts and calendars, can the iPhone sync with Yahoo or it only syncs explicitly with Outlook and such?

contacts and email sync seamlessly for me. Calendar does not as of v1.0.0 that I'm running. I hardly use my computer for email anymore.

I'm going to see if this latest update is worth doing and then backup all my contacts (export) from Yahoo before the update just to make sure nothing gets hosed in the upgrade.
