I bought the Khomo dual case from Amazon and it doesn't fit. It is a little to bulky and the smart cover portion doesn't work with it because of it. Here is the link to it:

I purchased the Otterbox Reflex case from the EverythingiCafe store.
It was advertised as a case for the iPad 2. It will fit the 3, HOWEVER, it is such a tight fit I think it would peel a screen protector off the screen!
Took me at least 5 minutes to get each half off and there is a bit of marking left on the back. Nothing terrible though.
We will call it some light marring, not scratches.

i Use the Sena UltraSlim iPad case which was built to be snug against the iPad 2. Just as snug with the new iPad!
I had the Belkin Snap Shield...no dice. The iPad Smart Cover works fine, but no to the Snap Shield. It's going back to Best Buy. Scratches horribly, as well...doesn't hold up well at all...
Luckily it seems that 99% came off with a bit of buffing. No real scratches, just rub lines from a forceful installAre you able to use a soft cloth to remove those?
I had poor luck with the Belkin snap shield with my old iPad 2 anyways. I bought the shield and put it on but then took it off because some crud had gotten underneath the shield and it just snapped. Luckily I was able to return it to best buy for a full refund, but I then decided that a colorful skin would work better.
As for the iPad smart cover from my iPad 2 it fits perfectly on my new iPad.
I used the Apple smart cover and I got from Amazon the Smart cover snap on case. It only cost $4 and it fits perfectly.
When I heard that the new iPad could be larger...I' ll have to admit, I was a bit worried that it might no fit the "ole case" (which is what I call it). Happy to report no issues whatsoever.
Hate to tell you that I think the new iPad sticks out a bit in that old case of yours. I would be worried that it would fall out and break.
Double-sided heat tape bonds it to the lid. Functional and beneficial. The wife doesn't care much for it in bed, but its perfect when sitting in a chair. The airlines hate me...
