I don't know about you all, but I don't have a single iTunes track. Instead I have several gigs of music I ripped from streams off internet radio stations or downloaded as track packs from Napster before using Tunebite to strip the DRM for regular high sample rate MP3s.

I think that means no cool album art...unless we can download it to the phone and assign it to our MP3s. Anyone else think this will be a problem? It would totally suck to have to have DRM iTunes tracks to enjoy the nice cover art viewing features.

There are also some widgets you can download off Apples download site that can retrieve album art work for you. Also, you could google image search for the cover art and copy and paste it into iTunes.

i tried the iTunes "find album art" i couldnt figure out how to get it to work

one option is to look up each album on amazon or some site like that copy the image and post in the little box in the bottom left corner of iTunes for that song.

second is to find a program on the internet that will do that for you
here is the one i use

fixtunes: http://www.fixtunes.com/

i tried it out for free first, liked it and bought it and used on my whole collection. it works pretty good, it wont find all the album art, but for my 2500 songs it found 2000 of them and then about 1900 of those were correct.
so i had to use the amazon way for 600 :( but it did find 1900, i would recommend that site if you want to spend $25

You need to make sure the Album and Artist is filled in correctly in the "Get Info" screen. This will allow iTunes to look up the album cover information. Do note thought that albums you have that are not sold in iTunes will not retrieve any cover art.
