I dropped my iPhone in the office today. It fell from about waist high on to the vinyl tiles. My heart skipped a beat, I picked it up and all was well. :laugh2:

Ahhh iPhone life goes on...

I've dropped mine twice. Once in the car to the floorboard and once in my office on carpet.

Thank goodness it's still ok!

I dropped mine the other day. I forgot it was sitting on my lap and I hopped out of my buddies truck. The phone landed on the gravel driveway and bounced a little bit. Much to my surprise, the screen was not cracked. The back is a little scratched, but that is the only damage---thank God!

I think the only thing that can most likely harm the iPhone will be concrete.

I have dropped in on the concrete though. The eyes squint, the heart skips, the fingers tighten. I go down to pick it up like a helpless baby found at your doorstep. Some scratches on the back, but my phone is OK. The chrome on the side is a little scratched as well, but as soon as you see the glass where is should also be scratched you just see pure reflection. I love it:cool:

its amazing how most just care if anything is wrong with the glass...isn't it like really strong though? and buy the silicone cover, it's amazing, it isn't bulky and it fits perfect...only down side, can't put the darn thing in my back pocket do to tight pants.

The crystal clear jacket is great too if you don't like the 'grabbiness' of rubber when you try to slide the phone in your pocket. I had the Speck rubber case, but now use the crystal case.

The rubber cases expand a little from taking them off and putting them on frequently. After a couple of weeks, mine started to fit loosely. The crystal jacket goes on and comes off pretty easily, for when you want to dock.

I've dropped mine twice in the parking lot outside my apartment...if I drop something and bend over to pick it up the phone falls right out of my purse...so now I put my purse down and then bend over :) No damage, a scratch on the silver edging around the screen, but that is it. And yes, I'm ordering a case for it this weekend...

I've only dropped mine once so far.

Was at work and the damn thing just slipped right out of my hand. Landed almost completely on the very top of it. No damage (work has carpet tiles) but the sim tray did pop out. Phone instantly recognized this, but sliding it back in worked just fine. I still did a reset cycle for good measure though.

Now I've got my DLO horizontal belt holster, and all is well.

Carelessly dropped my iPhone from the side of my bed today and heard a thud and just saw my iPhone lying on the parquet. Heart sank and started examining the phone all around and it looked okay without any scratches or dents.

I love it.

I do appreciate the use of the search feature.

I dropped my phone yesterday. Tumbled across the floor to the dog who decides to lick it. Oh well. Was fine.
