While I found the OP's post a little funny, the bottom line is that Apple has never announced the amount of RAM the iPhone uses in any of their models. It's always a company like ifixit.com that does a tear-down and identifies the individual hardware parts.
Apple's stance has never been like Samsung or HTC, where they boast about how stout their hardware is. Apple boasts over-all user experience, which is awesome compared to their current model counterparts.
In many cases, you'll find that there is newer, more powerful hardware in a Samsung galaxy than the iPhone. But what has a better over-all experience? Apple. They've always been that way, a total hardware/software package.
So with all that said, the tech, after 5 years, really should have an answer for that question by now. "I'm sorry, but some of the hardware specs aren't even shared with us, so I unfortunately can't answer that question for you." It beats playing dumb (or being dumb)
