Not sure why this is such a dumb verizon rep. True, the iPhone 4 can be used on Verizon, but the iPhone 3gs cannot because it was not made for the GSM network. So where was the dumb part in this?

The dumb part is that then iPhone was made for GSM. Not CDMA.
