Last night my Edge went down, so this morning I called Apple (why bother even trying to talk with ATT). A very friendly and helpful representative told me that the EDGE network has been down in the area. Anyone else having this trouble?

I take that back. It is down in Waltham. I have the big E on the screen and five bars but I can't load web pages or retreive data via Stocks or the weather widgets. I can make phone calls and listen to old voicemails.

Looking for an 'EDGE network status' webpage but I can't find anything. I did find a AT&T IP network status page which shows all green but I think that is for DSL customers.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I am glad you are having the same problem. It should be resolved quickly I'd assume considering how this same problem already plaugued the west coast. Although, the representative did state to me that there is "no time frame for a solution to kick in".

.... I wish I remembered to ask about the update while I had her on the phone.

Also, she asked if she could email me Apple's new manual. Seems a lot bigger and more in depth (at 130 pages).

Is it possible to download that manual off of Apples website?
