Do people think that educators will get a 10% discount on the iPhone? I am curious to hear what people think. I would love my 10% discount like I got on my mac!

Let's hope so. I didn't know anything about an educator's discount with Apple. Maybe Cingular will have to honor it as well. With what they pay us to teach, we need every little bit of help we can find.
I think actually the education discount is for students, but they probably make it available to teachers as well. I know I had to tell Apple which college I'm going to, and they took 10 or 20% off the price of my iPod. It was great! I would guess if you bought the iPhone off of the Apple website the same discount would be available, but I'm not sure if they would have the same offer through Cingular... I can't see why they would unfortunately
Well, it wouldn't matter for me, since in Australia only K-12 teachers and staff get the discount, as well as uni students, I go to a high school that is on a uni's campus and we work with the uni a lot so I wonder if I count as a uni student?
I doubt they will. They stopped giving the discount on iPods and they do not give it on iTv. If they do that will be great but I am not holding my breath!
Either way, I'll definitely check into this when it comes time for a macbookpro. 10% could be a $200 savings.
My cousin is a teacher and she recently looked into the discount on a MB. She said that it is no longer a percent, it is now a flat $100. I haven't checked this myself since it doesn't apply to me so I would check for yourself.
