Email always asking for password

Anyone know why my wife's iPhone 5 keeps asking for her password everytime she opens up her email?

I'm also having trouble with email. The iPhone 5 is faster in everything
when side by side with my 4s except email. On my yahoo account it takes about 3 minutes and on my mobile me account about 1 minute. Compared to 10 seconds on 4s

I had trouble with my yahoo email initially too & couldn't figure it out. I finally logged onto my email with my laptop. On the right side near the top there's a tab that says mobile mail. I clicked on it & entered my mobile number & they sent me a link. After that I was able to go into settings & enter my password & it took it.
