email same as texting?

And used them all already

If i were to use my email on this phone to send and receive mssgs from other phones instead will it still count as a text or an email? In other words will it charge me?

Does it keep a count for you of text messages or does AT&T?

I am assuming that emails are not the same.

agh I'm not even sure how to check how many text mssgs ive sent

But when im receiving from another phone their I'd shows as 9095551133@TXT.att.net

Does that mean anything?

cause im not sending and receiving from a computer im sending and receiving to and from other cell phones

no, but by using that "email" address, you can bypass the "no mms"! just send it to the persons phonenumber@att.net (whatever) and you can email pictures to peoples phones! i thought that was a pretty sweet trick if no on has mentioned it yet...

so I noticed at the bottom of the mssg i sent to my friends phone via email says "this mobile text message is brought to you by AT&T"

Are you still sure it won't charge me for over texting?

No these do not count as SMS, you can always check your text message count by dialing *3282# (*DATA#) from your phone, they'll send you a message that tells your current SMS remaining count.
