Who here is waiting for Etymotic to release the Er6's with a built in mic. These headphones are awesome. Did anyone mod their old pair yet, I've seen on other posts people modding other brands with the earbuds that came with the phone?

I have had my Etymotic ER-4p's for several years. Ever since I purchased my 3rd Gen iPod.

Best sounding headset available regardless of cost! More than a little harsh until they break in....but a couple days plugged into an iPod and left to stew on their own gets rid of that.

MORE than worth the dinero!

do you have a link? when did they say they were gona release new headphones?

I'm sorry, maybe I should have been more clear in my post.....I currently have the Er6 and those are awesome. I really want Etymotic to release a pair with a built in mic. As of now I have not heard of them releasing a pair
