It a warm 80 degree night here, about 17 people in line now as of midnight,
a nice relaxed atmosphere, people sharing their stories about Apple products, so far no EIC alumni but I'm spreading the word and got 2 new recruits.
Anyone in the springfield area, there are 3 seats left, were sending out for pizza and will save you a slice.
I will be in line at 5am CDST at Oak Brook mall in Oak Brook, IL. They are not letting anyone in before that time, and for those of us there early, I'm sure it will be a mad dash to the store, so no need to get there too early.
I went to my AT&T store just now (12:00a.m.) all I saw was a off duty cop or security guard in the store surfin the net. lol

They will sell out here for sure, they only got 20 3gs in (why so little I don't know) and as of 12:20 am there are 19 people here.

I've been here since 11, and ive got about 12 people in front of me. I was the hero earlier, I brought two 50ft extensions and 2 power strips that I spread out among all of us so we could charge the crapload of electronics everyone has. it was going good for a fee minutes until several security guards showed up and ruined our fun. they were watching us on the cameras we think. so yeah, our epic plan failed. suck.
Yep, got a call from mom in NYC and there are 150 people lined up already at
the Apple store there.
