5:50 AM here. We've been in line since about 5:30 and are the 9th & 10th people. I think we should be fine phone-wise (though this location REFUSED to give any hints about their stock last night.)

I was #1 at the AT&T store in Williamsport, PA. I got a 16GB white, activation took around 20 minutes. Currently syncing!

currently in line at the Orlando Florida mall location. I would say I am about# 80 in line, but I got here at 8:40am so its moving however slow. Looking behind me the line is still growing, about 50 or so behind me.

which mall are you at? I was planning on checking out florida mall. I just left the ATT store on colonial and there were 150 people in line easy... Guess ill just wait till later in the day, hopefully the lines will die down a bit

I'm at the Florida mall. They are letting 5 people in at a time. I have been here less than one hour, and there are about 60 people in front of me now.

I'm 7th in line here @ Fiesta Mall in Mesa Az. First person got in line @ 5:05 am. Right now there's only 11 of us with just a little over an hour to go.

No joy in Auburn Hills, MI AT&T store. Had about 50 people in line ahead of me...got there at 7:15 AM. With about 20 people in line ahead of me they said they only had FOUR white 16 gb's left. The store got hardly ANY iPhones! I'm busy 'til this afternoon, but we have a fairly good sized Apple store in Troy...I'm going to try there.

I was first in line at 4 AM at a nearby AT&T store. Just got back home, although my iPhone isn't working yet. They tried for a while to hook into iTunes at the store, then told me that their system wasn't working and that I'd have to "unbrick" it at home. I'm just sitting here with it plugged in and iTunes open, hoping something good happens soon.

It's officially over for me. I am now home with my new 16g, black iPhone. The activation and purchase went exceptionally smooth. My only complaint was that there was no bathroom and after two bottles of water and two coffees, well, lets say the last few minutes were brutal. A woman followed me out of the store with a video camera (I was first, remember). when she asked me how I felt after sitting there all night and finally having my iPhone in hand, all I could think of saying was.... I have to go to the bathroom.

Although Hawaii will probably be the last place in the world to get the iPhone 3G, I'm glad that we'll be at least 3 hours after the West Coast rush so hopefully iTunes will be less busy by then.
