Today, I took the kids to my company's summer picnic. They bought out the Santa Monica Pier amusement park for the afternoon and invited all the employees and their families. Since it was a weekday, my wife couldn't make it. But, since our kids don't start school until next week, they were thrilled to come along. To keep mom in the loop, I took many pictures with the iPhone and just hit the "email photo" button to her. It was awesome!

And she loved it! Here's a pic of my daughter bungee jumping much to the amusement of her older brothers and a couple of my coworkers.

So, what have you done with your iPhone today that made you fall in love with it again? :laugh2:

Did the same deal this past weekend. I took my girlfriend to NY for the weekend for her 20th birthday. Throughout the trip I took pics of us and her and emailed them on the spot to my parents (huge NYC fans). They thought it was amazing when I told them I was emailing them those pics 1 min after I took them.

Ok maybe just one more cotton candy

Sorry for the haziness of the photos but it was a 100 deg day and 100% humidity I think the lens got a little fogged.

I was in class and a teacher needed a number for IT ... I whipped my phone out and started scrolling with one finger through my phone book. Everyone around me was like in awe. No one I know on this campus has one ... or that I have seen yet.

Then in another class this girl was bragging she had a Motorola Q and my teacher Sister Catherine who I let use my iPhone once was like well he has an iPhone ... I was so happy bc the girl was one of those "I know it all, answer every question with a long elaborate answer" pains in the ass in class ... I showed her ... dummy.

Good one, showing up the know-it-all!

There was a "Whack A Mole" game at our amusement park as well. I kept referring to it as the "Spank the Weasel" game. My 16-year-old guffawed, while my 12 and 11-year-old kept getting pissed that I was calling it the wrong name.

Cell phone technology in general is just amazing isn't it?

Just the other day, I was working deep in the woods with the snakes, birds and the bees and had a minute to kill, so what do I do? Whip out my sidekick and post a few times on several threads on this site! How cool is that!

And I also find it neat that I can now email pics to my wife right out of the pocket! Always wishing I was doing it from an iPhone of course, but my day will come.

My daughter goes to Philipstown recreation camp every summer. Small world..... but I wouldn't want to have to paint it. ;)

Having a smoke outside work in manhattan. Obviously lost tourist is looking at my office thinking it should be a restaurant based on the address he was given. Took out the phone pulled up the map and showed him the way. He was more than impressed. After he walked away, I clicked the URL in maps to learn more about the place. Too bad it was a flash site. Glad no one was around to see that!
