Where will you be getting your iPhone at and why? Both Apple Stores and AT&T will offer the first generation iPhone. What stores will have more in stock, will AT&T be able to activate you quicker? All good questions that I'm hoping some will answer in this thread. Discuss!

Appple. I figure I will have a better chance at getting one at an actual Apple store since they are the ones who makes the phone!

Where will u be gettin yur iPhone at and y?

I think i am going to go to the ATT store. The Apple store here in Charlotte NC is in a Rich part of town at the Mall. I bet that place will be swamped.

So i will be going to the ATT store in the ghetto that will provide the iPhone.

Shoot, I was hoping more people would be going to an Apple store...so I was going to go with an AT&T store. I'll probably just end up winging it on release day anyway. I'll have my Dad in Madison at a store, my sister in Milwaukee, my other sister in Arizona, and then me in Cali...hahaha now thats family love for ya! (and if I don't get one...they'll pay) jk :)

Don't know yet. I am porting a number from Sprint so probably go to an AT&T store to make sure it gets done right.

My plan, as I have stated before, is to visit about five potential iPhone sites, two Apple stores and three AT&T stores, on Saturday the 23rd. While there I will talk to salespeople and get as much info as I can. The place/person I feel that has the best plan to deal with the crowds, is polite, helpful, etc will be the store I spend 6 plus hours waiting in line on June 29th. I am not going to drop a grand and get treated like crap especially after waiting in line for six hours.

Oh, yeah proximity to restrooms and food will also help in decideing where I buy my phone. LOL!

At&t because our Apple store will be packed. (Reno, Nevada)

So hopefully I can hit up this AT&T place right after work without worry of not getting it! :]

Because the closest Apple store is over 100 miles north, I'll have to settle for one of the three At&t corporate stores here in town.

AT&T Store in the mall , there is an Apple store in the mall 2 and there practically almost right next to each other ! Im going to the AT&T store . port in from sprint . leaving work early around 4:30 takes 15 mins to get there . hopfully that is enough time.
