The SDK does not allow App Store apps to run in the background. If you're talking about the FLYCAST that is in the App Store, this will never happen.

It's just another limitation of the crApp Store.

Actually, Apple are due to release this feature this month, though are now expected to delay the release. The feature was present in BETA versions of 2.1 for a while, before Apple pulled the feature due to issues with it.

Absolutely not.

You are very confused. The feature you are talking about is the Push Notification Service. This has been pulled from recent betas, and has been delayed. This service does not allow applications to run in the background, but for applications to receive limited data - notifications! This is a big deal to IM apps, which will allow you to receive messages while your IM app is not running.

You will NOT be able to listen to audio from any app because they are not allowed to run in the background, at the moment. I don't see Apple caving on this any time soon.

Be careful about spreading information you don't understand.
