I do them both. I asked because you can repost on eBay, just put a short auction time on it. Reposting on craigslist is little trickier because if they catch it they delete it.
Well I was wrong all the way around. Of course you can repost on eBay. I think the first one is free and I didn't know that about craigslist.

I sold my wife's iPhone 4 16GB on Saturday for $400 (Craigslist) and I thought we are being ripped off. I guess we got very good price. I am in CT, USA. Good luck guys

I'll be happy to get that for my 32GB. Of course everything is regional with these things, but I'd be happy with that price.

Funny thing is I tried to sell my 32GB for a week for $450 and highest offer received was $350. Plan was she will upgrade to 4S and I will take her 16GB and sell the 32GB. Then I posted her 16GB and it sold in less than 6hours. I always say Craigslist is like the weirdest market out there.

Can someone explain to me unlocked vs locked? I have had my IP 4 since last October with ATT. I signed a 2 yr contract at the time. So I assume my phone is still locked. I'm planning to sell it on Craig list or eBay tonight. Or at least get it listed.

I just checked craigslist yesterday, and I can still get over $600 for my black 32gig locked to Rogers. I won't be selling it though, I'm only going to upgrade to iPhone 5, I'm skipping 4S.

I'm based in Toronto, and there were lots of them going for over $600. Mine is in emaculate condition, not a scratch on it, and I can hand it to whom ever jailbroken on 4.3.1 if they want.

I got rid of my 3G last year to buy my iPhone4, and after two years of owning it, I still managed to get $250 for it after having it posted on craigslist for only 5 minutes.

Thank God for Apples resail value.

You guys in Canada get screwed. 3 year contracts and expensive iPhones. I've got a list of dozens of iPhone 4 on craigslist for around $185 here in Texas. I think I'll sell my factory unlocked phone in Canada !

Lol, we're the ones that are screwed?
The 4S starts at $159 on a three year contract, all the way up to $369 for a 64gig, you've always been able to buy one completely unlocked from Apple since day one, and I can still get over $600 for my iPhone4 on craigslist....all in all, I think things look pretty good up here for iPhone users. Just saying....

its not what the market is going for its what you sold it for yes i see people selling them for $400 plus but guess what they haven't sold them at that price some people need to come to there senses and sell at a reasonable price unless you don't mind trying to sell it for months to come im just saying.

But a 3 year contract ? No way, too long. For $40 more we get 2 year contracts and we can upgrade after 1 year. Like I said on another thread 3 years is way too much specially when technology changes so quickly. Just look at how many people complaining because Apple took 16 or 18 months and gave us the 4S instead of something newer. Imagine if they had to wait 3 years or even 2 years like you do to upgrade? They'd have heart attacks !

We also have the choice of picking 1, and 2 years....and even buying it out without contract. there is nothing wrong with adding a third year for the people that are on a bigger budget, and don't upgrade as often.

I'm seeing them go in the Louisville, KY craigslist for $275-425 depending on condition and specs. Couple of stragglers trying to get $550-600, I bet I'll see those posts stay there for a while.

I like how the high-ballers often say "I just got this from the Apple store as a replacement so it is brand new". That trick doesn't magically make it worth $200 more than it should be.

I put my black 32 gig with otter box on ebay with a buy it now of 475. It was a 3 day auction. Listed it on Thursday at 11 pm and it sold at 2 am. Shipped it out on Friday.

probably should have asked for more but I was happy to get that.
