Forum suggestion.

I think there should be another section strictly for iPhone technical support or iPhone help since the whole first page is full of threads about people having trouble with their iPhones.

What do you guys think of my idea? if you guys agree I'll try asking Chris to see if he would approve of this.

How about a Getting Started forum. This would cover Activation and general "newbie" type questions (not that Activation is a newbie question, considering lots of folks are having issues).

I'm also doing some housekeeping tonight, tomorrow and ongoing. I've set up Bluetooth and WiFi sections -- and moving the bulk of software related questions to iPhone software.

Suggestions? Should WiFi have it's own category or should I bundle it with Bluetooth?

I think a separate Bluetooth and a wifi section would be better. If I'm a newbie coming here and I see wireless I'm automatically thinking that's just for wifi. Other than that i agree with everything said in this thread.

Thing is.. Bluetooth is a pretty big category. You've got all types of headsets, carkits, keyboards? and car issues. WiFi, while wireless, is more specific. We could include HotSpot discussions, etc. I'd hate for WiFi to get lost in the Bluetooth crowd.

Absolutely, an entire technical venue needs to be created.

One thing for sure, more people need to simply read the very
detailed iPhone Users Guide available in .pdf format.

I'm sitting here reading it, and discovering all kinds of tricks.

Things like setting what weather locations you want,
to how to create a "bookmark" without sync...ing.

It's been posted here earlier in the day, but needs a
permanent home here somewhere. (If it's not been created yet.)
